On May 1st, Council passed an incentive package that would bring 50 new jobs to the City of Cincinnati. Innotech Products, Ltd. has committed to invest in new building improvements to a facility at 2940 Highland Avenue located in the Pleasant Ridge neighborhood.
“Continuing to help grow our neighborhood businesses provides a greater quality of life for the residents as well has helps in the recruitment of new businesses,” said Odis Jones, Economic Development Director. “We are glad that Innotech Products has decided to relocate their company to the City of Cincinnati.”
Innotech Products is a manufacturing and distribution company located in the City of Forest Park. The company specializes in the research, development, manufacturing, packaging and marketing of: (1) portable, electrochemical heaters; (2) self-heating, shelf-stable, packaged food and beverage products; (3) and, chemical-biological detection and defense products.
Innotech is the global leader in self-heating technology. They invented the Flameless Ration Heater (FRH) in 1990, and since that time, this patented self-heating technology has heated nearly 2 Billion “Meals Ready-To-Eat” (MRE’s) for the U.S. Armed Forces. Besides MRE’s, the company produces HeaterMeals® which are homestyle entrees that use the Flameless Ration Heater. HeaterMeals has grown to include four lines of self-heating, shelf-stable entrees and meal kits, and also Cafe2Go beverage and soup kits.
Innotech will consolidate their operations and move the entire company into the City of Cincinnati. The new jobs to the City will include administration, sales, marketing, warehouse, and packaging.
