Rough Bros. to relocate Cincinnati headquarters

Rough Bros. Manufacturing Inc. is looking to relocate its headquarters from St. Bernard and expand its greenhouse design and manufacturing operations.

The Cincinnati-based company received a 50 percent, seven-year tax credit from the state of Ohio for a proposed headquarters relocation project. Rough Bros. is now located on Vine Street in St. Bernard.

According to details from the state of Ohio, the company is looking to move somewhere within the city of Cincinnati and expand its office space and production facility. Ohio is competing with Kentucky and Indiana incentive offers for the project.

Terms of the credit call for the company to create 20 full-time positions with a $1 million in annual payroll retain 96 jobs with payroll of $3.8 million. Rough Bros would be required to maintain operations in the city of Cincinnati for at least 10 years.

The city of Cincinnati also has offered local incentives valued at $1.5 million.
