Request for Developer Qualifications (RFQ)
Mixed Use Development at Hamilton & North Bend
College Hill, Cincinnati, Ohio
Release Date: June 5, 2014
The City of Cincinnati, in partnership with the College Hill Community Urban Redevelopment Corporation (CHCURC), is requesting statements of interest and credentials for the development of several large parcels of assembled and development-ready land in the College Hill neighborhood.
The three subject sites contain a total of 7.5 acres of contiguous, cleared land at Hamilton Avenue and North Bend Road, the hard corner of ‘Main and Main’.
The City of Cincinnati owns the land and is looking for developer(s) who exhibit a proven track record in the successful development of mixed use, multifamily buildings similar in scope and nature to what is desired by the College Hill community.
Named for the many colleges that once called the neighborhood home, College Hill is one of Cincinnati’s largest and most populous neighborhoods. Describing itself as ‘diverse and neighborly,’ College Hill is a city neighborhood that easily accommodates a quiet and familial atmosphere, but at the same time is an active urban village. A walkable urban business
district, with revitalization and retenanting already underway, pairs with tree lined streets, desirable single-family homes with distinctive architecture, neighborhood schools, and parks.
With the right development at this prime corner, College Hill is poised to strengthen its position as Cincinnati’s genuinely urban, comfortably livable neighborhood of choice.
