Four Cincinnati hospitals rank among best

Four local hospitals ranked among the nation’s best, according to the latest edition of U.S. News & World Report’s Best Hospitals Guide.

Christ Hospital was ranked No. 50 on the list of best hospitals for pulmonology, a specialty that deals with diseases of the lungs and the respiratory system.

Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center ranked No. 1 for pediatric gastroenterology, No. 2 for pediatric pulmonology, and No. 3 for pediatric kidney disorders.

University Hospital ranked No. 22 in the ear, nose and throat category and No. 41 for the treatment of diabetes and endocrinology.

Good Samaritan Hospital ranked No. 42 in the diabetes and endocrinology category.
